A mobile office may need to be disconnected and prepared before it can leave a site, then positioned and set up before it can be used at the next one. Moving it between addresses is only part of that work. Define the transportation and site-service responsibilities before requesting a quote.

Confirm the unit and the owner’s requirements

Provide the unit type, identifying number, dimensions, verified weight, photos, and whether it is owned or leased. Obtain the owner’s authorization and instructions for relocation.

Clarify whether it will travel on its own running gear or be carried as cargo. Have the transport provider evaluate the actual unit and proposed method; wheels under a building do not establish road readiness.

Prepare everything attached to the office

Assign qualified personnel to disconnect utilities and address steps, ramps, skirting, anchors, awnings, and other attached items under the owner’s instructions. Inventory anything that must travel separately.

Confirm how furniture, equipment, and other contents will be handled. Do not assume the interior can remain loaded exactly as it was during occupancy. Include approved contents in the weight information.

Review access at both properties

Provide approach photos, turning space, overhead restrictions, ground conditions, gates, and the intended placement orientation. Identify obstacles that could require removal or a different delivery method.

Ask the owner and service providers which site preparation must be finished before arrival. Access for a truck and suitable support for an occupied office are different questions that require the appropriate review.

Quote the complete sequence

Separate disconnection, preparation, transport, unloading or positioning, leveling, anchoring, reconnection, and any required approvals. Identify the party responsible for each task and its schedule.

Request a transport review using the unit details, both site plans, and the desired move date. Have the provider assess route and equipment requirements before making a fixed scheduling commitment. If the office cannot be placed immediately, establish an approved alternative before dispatch.
