Identify each machine and its prepared configuration

List the manufacturer, model, quantity, and shipping weight of each unit. Ask the manufacturer or qualified equipment technician whether the machine travels assembled or requires approved preparation. Measure the resulting packaged units.

Include consoles, detached frames, benches, and accessory boxes on the inventory. Separate loose weight plates or dumbbells into clearly identified shipping units with their own weights and dimensions. Do not estimate the shipment from the equipment’s floor layout.

Assign disassembly and reassembly to the right team

For used equipment, name the qualified party responsible for disconnection, preparation, and removal from the workout area. Follow model-specific manufacturer guidance rather than assuming every treadmill or cable machine can be handled alike.

Keep the opening schedule realistic
